Who we are

We are a content creation, production, and development studio; an incubator of scripts and concepts for feature-films, television series and documentaries that in turn serves as producer or co-producer of said projects. Our vision is centered on developing all types of stories, from their first visionary concept to its realization. Our main objective lies in achieving a solid financial justification, according to the nature and scope of each project.

Talipot Studio was founded in 2018, with Regina Solórzano as its CEO to the present day.

We have participated in various national and international projects, including:

  • Annette (Dir. Leos Carax), opening film at thE Cannes Film Festival 2021.
  • Bergman Island (Dir. Mia Hansen-Løve), premiered at the Cannes Film Festival 2021.
  • Siberia (Dir. Abel Ferrara), premiered at the Berlin Film Festival 2020.
  • The Kings of the World (Dir. Laura Mora), premiered at the San Sebastián Film Festival 2022 and winner of the highest award “La Concha de Oro”.
  • Split at the Root (Dir. Linda Goldstein Knowlton), documentary premiered at South By Southwest 2022.

  • The Dead Don’t Hurt (Dir. Viggo Mortensen), premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival 2023 and opening film at the Morelia International Film Festival 2023.
  • Heaven of Invention, a play written by Isabela Coppel and directed by Lorena Maza, which premiered in 2020 on the Teatrix streaming platform.

We are currently developing various film and television projects through first-rate strategic alliances.

Original stories or adaptations (in multiple formats) in their basic seed that offer a universe of narrative and financial possibilities.

We aim to generate alliances and co-production schemes with other production houses to consolidate internally developed projects.

We also seek to participate in external developments, at any production stage, that are attractive due to their narrative quality and execution values.
